What Is It? 

Five days of live-online small group training + a final 6-case mock exam.

A 5-day Live-Online Step 2 CS Training designed to provide you with everything you’ll need to successfully navigate the USMLE Step 2 CS exam. This program is uniquely created to help you succeed with the CS exam from the comfort of your own home. We’ve been working to perfect this model for years and can help you perfect your CS skills to meet the new exam standards.

The program includes two components: 1) A Pre-Program online training program (self-paced) that will introduce you to everything you’ll need to know prior to day 1 of class, and 2) 5 Days of Live-Online CS Training. The combination of pre-program self-paced training with our 5-day training will ensure that you’re 100% prepared for your exam in as little time as possible.

Additionally, going through our online pre-program training protocol will ensure that you get the most out of your time with us live in-person. We will meet in a small group setting Monday-Friday for approximately 4hrs/day & you will book your 6-case mock exam for a future date (following week or further into the future; whichever best fits into your timeframe). All of our training occurs through our Zoom webinar platform.

The goal of the “pre-program online CS training” is as follows: 1) Expose you to all of the foundational principles that you MUST know in order to successfully navigate the USMLE Step 2 CS exam. These foundational principles will be thoroughly explored during the pre-program component and reinforced with a variety of exams & quizzes. The following components are discussed at length during the pre-program online training component: 1) Mastering the ICE (exploring every sub-component that gets you points for the ICE component), 2) Mastering the CIS (exploring every sub-component that gets you points for the CIS component), 3) Patient Note Mastery (exploring the ins-and-outs of the patient note, what makes a good/bad patient note, and how to effectively create a strong note), 4) Sample cases (We walk you through a variety of sample cases so you know what strong encounters should look like prior to starting your live program), 5) Physical exams (We walk you through all of the physical exams you need to know & master in order to successfully navigate the PE portion of your exam). Ultimately, the goal of this 1st component is to ensure that when we meet with you for the 1st time live-online, you’re already well-equipped with the foundational knowledge you need so that we can make faster and greater improvements in your CS skills.

The goal of our “Live-Online CS Training” is as follows: To further build on the foundational principles that you learned and mastered during the pre-program online component and to sharpen & fine-tune your CS skills. The 5-day training will ensure that there is not a single situation, circumstance, or challenge that you won’t be ready to tackle. Our live-online training will systematically break down all of the systems, discuss all of the high-yield cases you’re likely to encounter in each of the main systems, and allow you to perform practice cases so that we can provide you with valuable feedback about your performance. 

The 6 Case 1-on-1 Mock/Assessment Exam? On the final day of training we will provide you with a scheduling link for your 1-on-1, 6-case mock exam with one of our instructors. You will go through a 6-case mock exam which will mimic the real-life circumstances, stressors, and challenges of the exam. Following completion of this assessment, your instructor will provide you with a final grade and give you feedback and recommendations about your likelihood of passing your CS exam.
